Worker's Compensation Insurance

This is a mandatory insurance against liability imposed on certain employers. It will pay benefits and furnish care to employees injured. It will also pay benefits to dependents of employees killed in the course of, or arising out of their employment.

When completing a business insurance application, you will be asked if you have this insurance for your employees. You must confirm with the local Worker's Compensation Board that this coverage is required and if it is not, you will receive a notice from them that your business does not need this coverage.

Employer's Contingent Liability Insurance is the product for the employer for injuries sustained by an employee in the course of employment, when the employee is not eligible for coverage under Worker's Compensation Insurance.
