Back End Load

Back end load is a sales fee that is applied at the end of a contract. The charge you pay does not add value to your contract. It is simply a fee you will pay the end of the term.

This is more commonly seen on life insurance or accident and sickness insurance contracts.

Ask your agent or broker if your policy has a back end load.
