Superintendent Of Insurance
The Superintendent of Insurance is a government employee in charge of supervising the insurance industry and working with them whenever necessary regarding public complaints, rate increases, etc.
All insurance agents, brokers, adjusters, appraisers and insurance companies are under the supervision of the Superintendent. If you are not happy with an insurance situation then do talk to your agent or broker. If all else has failed you and you cannot get an answer you want or feel that you have been treated unfairly then you can contact this person for help.
This is not a step taken lightly, this is going right to the top!
