Stuffed Plush Toys by Carousel Softoys Inc. recall

August 10 Health Canada announced a recall involving stuffed plush animals in an assortment of shapes: bear, dog, elephant, frog, monkey, mouse, panda, rabbit and raccoon. The toys are 15cm in height and each has a red ribbon tied around their neck. To allow for display, each animal also has a small loop attached to its head.

You should check yours for a hang tag with the model number 413-6ASA and "Carousel Softoys Inc." printed on it.

What is the danger?

The eyes on the plush toys can detach easily. Such small parts pose a choking hazard to young children. At time of the recall neither Health Canada nor Caravan Concessions Carousel Softoys Inc. has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these toys.
