Dora Explorer and Go Diego pacifier recall

On April 8, 2011 Health Canada recalled Go, Diego, Go! and Dora the Explorer Pacifiers.

This recall involves Go, Diego, Go! and Dora the Explorer pacifiers for ages three to six months with UPC 7 74538 11007 3. The pacifiers were sold as sets of two. Go, Diego, Go! pacifiers contained one blue guard with orange handle, and one white guard with blue handle. Dora the Explorer pacifiers contained one pink guard with white handle, and one white guard with pink handle.

What is the danger?

Testing by Health Canada has determined that the nipples and handles of the recalled pacifiers may separate; these small components pose a choking hazard to young children.

At time of the recall Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injury related to the use of this product.

What should I do?

You should immediately take the recalled pacifiers away from children and dispose of them in your regular household garbage.

Approximately 4,800 of the recalled pacifiers were sold at Zellers stores across Canada.

These recalled pacifiers were sold from 2007 to 2011. The soothers were manufactured in China. The importer is Global Edge Brands of Markham, Ontario.
