Loss Reduction

One way to control your risk is to reduce the severity of a loss.

Examples would include building construction for an area that is prone to earthquake or to flooding or driving a vehicle that has four-point seat belts and driver/passenger air bags. You cannot reduce the frequency or the likelihood of the loss occurring but you can limit the serious consequences of the loss with these measures. Not every answer is insurance.

This is a good topic for you to discuss with your Risk Manager, agent or broker.
