Kevin Costner is being sued

The BP oil spill was the biggest story of the year for 2010. It has even affected Hollywood as Stephen Baldwin is suing actor Kevin Costner. The lawsuit is in regards to Costner's company that made machines to separate oil from water.

Baldwin bought a 10% of the shares in Costner's company. The company's machines were used in cleaning up part of the BP oil spill in the Gulf.

The allegations made by Baldwin is that he was led to believe that Costner had already sold his shares in the company when he invested.

Baldwin alleges that Costner was still heavily invested in the company. He goes on to say that Costner and his partners tricked Baldwin into selling his shares back. Once they had ownership then they sold the company directly to BP for $52 million.

Baldwin is suing for unspecified damages.
