Foam number puzzle toy recall

On January 26, 2011 Health Canada recalled Foam Number Puzzles.

This recall involves a number puzzle that is made up of 10 colored interlocking foam squares. Each square has a colored number puzzle piece in the center.

The number puzzle comes wrapped in clear plastic and can be identified by
UPC 0-60107-11896-1.

What is the danger?

Some of the small pieces of foam that make up the numbers in the puzzle are small parts; these small parts pose a choking hazard to young children.

At the time of the recall neither Health Canada nor Encore Sales has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.

What should I do?

You should immediately take away the recalled toy from children and dispose of it in regular household garbage.

How many of these were sold and where?

Approximately 6,530 units of the recalled number puzzles were sold in Canada.

The recalled puzzles were sold from January 2010 to January 2011. the puzzles were manufactured in China. The distributor is Encore Sales Ltd. of Concord, Ontario.
