Employers' Contingent Liability

This commercial insurance protects the employer for injuries sustained by an employee in the course of employment. This coverage is triggered when the employee is not eligible for coverage under a Workers Compensation Act (WCB) in a jurisdiction where the injury took place.

If the WCB responds then the employers' contingent liability will not. This is why you need to define if all employees have WCB coverage when you are placing you business insurance.
