Driving Record

The driving record is a record of your accidents, tickets, and claims. This information is used to help determine your insurance premium.

If you have moved from one province to another you will need to provide a claims and experience letter from your previous insurance company. You get this through your broker or agent. If you also have your drivers abstract you can prove how long you have been licensed.

The insurance underwriter will look at the Autoplus report to verify information but there can be errors within the report. The claims and experience that you provide will over rule information incorrectly stated on the Autoplus report.
