Delay Start Up Liability

Definition
Delay Start-Up Liability is for the contingent liability that can occur to cause a delay in the opening up of a project. Examples would include a delay in delivery of specialized contractor's equipment, machinery or an insured claim.

The insurance answer
This policy if it is purchased by the owner of the project will likely exclude professional liability insurance and the contractor's own tools, equipment, trailers, etc.
