CAIB

CAIB is the acronym for Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker. This is a designation earned by professional insurance brokers by successfully completing an education program. The program is provided by the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) and is recognized across Canada.

If the broker or agent has this designation then you know that they have exceeded the minimum education requirements for licensing. The program requires a more in-depth understanding of insurance.

Of course a well-experienced agent or broker may not have the CAIB designation. You do want an adviser who has good knowledge of insurance and cares about looking after your needs. This adviser is someone whom you will trust to work with your for all your insurance needs.

Turners Tips recommends you take control of your insurance whether it be your car, home or business. No one likes an unpleasant surprise when a claim occurs.
